Adjustable Half Round Overlapping Doors for Tubular Steel Columns and Signs

 

Manufactured from 2mmm mild steel, these stamped doors are ideal replacements for missing doors. They are designed to fit most tubular steel columns and are available in a range of sizes with adjustment to suit aperture heights exactly. The top latch is fitted with a stainless steel tri head bolt as standard but they can be supplied with stainless steel anti vandal bolts as required. The finished door is hot dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461. They can be supplied pre painted to any specification.

 

To select the correct door:

 

Most tubular columns have base diameters of 127, 140, 168, 194, or 219 mm. Using our diameter guage, part number 6150, establish the base diameter, measure the aperture height and width, and if possible the circumferential dimension as there are standard width and extra width doors available for 127, 140, and 168 mm diameter bases. With this information study the following charts to select the correct door.

 

Drip rails can present problems, however, in some cases the door can cover the drip rail, in other cases it may be necessary to remove the drip rail completely or fit the door upside down.

 

Some columns with the hinged doors require the hinges to be cut off in order for the new doors to fit.
