Pudsey Diamond Engineering are pleased to launch their innovative new product, the Solaboll^TM solar powered illuminated self-righting bollard.

This product will revolutionise Bollard installation and replacement, providing a 'Green Solution' by way of it's Solar generated power.

It is the only solar powered product available on the market that conforms to to BS EN 12767-2:2007 passive safety performance standard at both 50 kmh AND 70 kmh, whilst also conforming to BS 8442:2006 section 14 (retroreflective self-righting bollards).

A host of design features make the bollard easy to fit, clean and replace. The bollard remains fully operational after most impacts and it is fully serviceable and repairable on site. With no requirement for electricity and with the batteries (which are expected to last between 6 and 10 years) housed below ground, the bollard provides a safe and cost effective solution to bollard installtion and replacement. The bollard can be retrofitted to most existing bases and is available in a choice of colours and signage.
