Universal Wall and Pole Bracket

The Universal bracket, when combined with our GRP Cut Out Box, offers an excellent lantern bracket and cut out point. The unit has a specially designed backplate which is suitable for wooden pole, wall and corner mounting. It also has two sets of slots for tespa band fixing to poles as an alternative to screws.

The backplate is designed to accept the universal swivel arm which can turn in the case of accident, as shown below. The arm can be of various lengths up to 1.0 m outreach and in either 34mm or 42mm diameter. Note that the arm can swivel through 180 degrees and has adjustable mounting height as it can slide in the stirrup.

Stub Arm Bracket

The same backplate can be fitted with a short fixed stub arm as shown below. This is for use where a lantern is to be fitted when minimal outreach is required.

Corner Strap Bracket

Where a more secure fixing is required on an old building for example, the corner strap bracket is designed to accept the Universal or Stub bracket, but allows the fixings to be moved away from the corner as shown below.
